Rostropovich actually bought a mansion just down the road from Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville. It has since been taken over by some corporation which hosts loud rock concerts which can be heard sometimes during the Vigil. I heard that “Gelston Castle” (as they call it now) is now absolutely off-limits to us seminarians.
Prayers for safe travels for the whole Snyder family as they travel halfway across the globe.
